5,Spherical roller bearings have two rows of roller with a common sphered raceway in the outer ring. The two inner ring raceways are inclined at an angle to the bearing axis. The bearings are self-aligning and consequently insensitive to errors of alignment of the shaft relative to the housing and to shaft deflection. In addition to radial loads, the bearings can accommodate axial loads acting in both directions.
